FSBO - For Sale By Owner
FSBO is a very common abreviation in the real estate market place. FSBO - sounds like fizzbo - means "For Sale By Owner".
FSBO is a selling method whereas the owner of the property acts as the selling agent and handles the sales process directly with the buyer or buyer's agent. many times home owners will sell their home themselves in order to avoid having to pay a listing commission.
A FSBO is also known as a private sale.
If you are selling your home yourself, you can still hire a knowledgable real estate firm to handle the paperwork regarding the real estate transaction but if you don't want representation or negotiation on your behalf, you may elect a NO Brokerage Relationship with the brokerage firm.
I know this exists in Florida but you may want to ask the brokerage firm in your area.
